Single PTFE Lip Metal Cased

  • Carbon or Stainless Steel Case
  • Viton Element with Standard Virgin PTFE Lip
  • Suitable for medium to high speed application
  • Suitable for low to medium pressure
  • Abrasive-Resistant and pressure-stable, for use in fans, pumps, compressors, gear-boxes, and engine crank case.
  • Low friction can be achieved via hydrodynamic effect on the sealing lip.
  • Speed: ≤ 30m/s
  • Pressure: ≤ 8 bar
  • Temperature: -150°C ~ 225°C

Dual PTFE Lip Metal Cased Seals

  • In addition to the primary sealing lip this profile has a dust lip, or excluder lip to provide an extra layer of protection against both contaminants and corrosion.

PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) rotary shaft seals are specialized seals designed to prevent the leakage of fluids along rotating shafts in various industrial applications. Here’s a breakdown of key points about PTFE rotary shaft seals:

PTFE is commonly known by the brand name Teflon®.  In addition to virgin PTFE other lip material is available: Carbon PTFE, Bronze Filled PTFE, and Graphite Filled PTFE.
